The correct New Year's resolution that was nearly broken was...

Yes you guessed it. It was that we nearly forgot to blog here at the site twice for the week. Well we noticed not many guesses came our way, and all the one's received via e-mail was close so no t-shirts were awarded. Perhaps next contest we'll get those out to you students. Thanks to Karen Whittington for guessing via email that we nearly broke the resolution of exercise for the New Year. The shiny yellow school bus would like to remind everyone that the New Years resolution contest will be going on for yet one more day. So hopefully all you procrastinators will get it into gear and resolve to ride the shiny yellow school bus to where you do your best thinking of New Year's resolutions and get those in by midnight. We once again will be awarding the one who makes and keep them with a hat, bumper sticker and t-shirt, also known as Sixxer's super gear. Uh,oh super students, Sixxer almost broke one of his own New Years Resolutions

In the webs favorite bookstore it has been so fast-paced lately, that Sixxer himself almost blew one of his new years resolutions. As a result of that, he will award the first three students who could identify what that resolution was with one of Sixxer's Super Shirts.

Geez this resolution stuff is tough. And being on the preaching end of keeping resolutions once you do recognize the really close save, we would like to receive your entry by midnight Monday, of the three resolutions you intend to keep for the year 2011 and show us by February 8,2011 some sort of proof that you actually kept your resolution. The shiny yellow school bus will don your name on the visor of the bus when all is said and done and at the stroke of midnight Valentines Day will announce you as the winner. The shiny yellow school bus with bus drive Bob at the helm will then scoot on over to the post office to have your prize in the mail. As always Sixxer thanks you for all of your wonderful clicks.

Weekend Student Activities

Okay, so sometimes being a student involves falling victim to party animal peer pressure. We've all seen the debauchery on such films as Animal House, House Party or American Pie and movies of the like. Well students, I am certainly no stranger to letting it all hang out on weekends. The net result of crazy weekends are great memories and usually some kind of trouble. So be sure as super students that you weigh the odds going in, and keep to your party regimen. Blowing off steam is certainly fun, I say as bus driver Bob shouts "TOGA!," hahaha (Thanks Bob), so he of course knows what topic I'm on about. But hey students let me be the voice of reason for a moment and mention that designated drivers, stowing away fragile merchandise and being reasonable with regards to your neighbors, might account for a smoother but not necessarily less-fun experience. Just sayin', yes it's okay to go ape, but be sure to keep plenty of bananas handy. The shiny yellow school bus has been known to double for a taxi cab for certain students, so staying alive and having a good time are the important party rules. Okay Super students, go out there and celebrate acing that exam and winning the game but also be ready for what tomorrow has in store. Tennis Down Under, NFL on this side of the Pond, Ice Hockey and the NBA all heating up!

The beginning of the year is always a competitive and fun time for the sports scene. Sixxer is a big fan of tennis and enjoying how technology allows for more variety when it comes to being a couch surfing spectator. The Aussie Open is always awesome to watch because, while we are in the uncertainty of winter weather here, the summertime is in full effect there, even if the toilet water swirls the opposite way. The shiny yellow school bus driver Bob is more of the football type, and is all fired up that his home-team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are going to be dancin' the big dance so-to-speak. Bus driver Bob mentions that he became a bus driver of the shiny yellow school bus because the vehicle's colors appealed to him, being a Steelers fan and all. Which probably explain's why he wears a Laker's Jersey under his uniform shirt and laces a purple ribbon around the rear-view mirror. That Bob, we always see his antics as a mystery, but we keep him around because he drives that bus better than any other operator we've ever laid eyes on. Here in Los Angeles, the store's headquarters, we keep losing out on getting another football team, so we have a tendency to wish them all well and usually the winning team is the one that we boast about. The reason is that we are all about winning here at the web's favorite student store, and we think that students who do this on a consistent basis, have preparedness to thank. Did you hear that the Zodiac may be adding a 13th sign students?

Yeah, that caught us by surprise too. Something about the Earth's wobbles a bit off kilter these days as it has a tendency to do every 26,000 years or so. We were reading just recently that an astronomer from The Minnesota Planetarium Society says due to changes in the Earth's alignment the dates of many zodiac signs have changed.

Another Cool New Year's Day Date!

Alright students, just as mentioned on day one of this year, one's are even wilder on this date which happens to be one, one one, one one! Since you are the type that wins and coming in number one is an important consequence of being a Sixxer's Super student, Sixxer and bus driver Bob would like to congratulate you on arriving here today. At Sixxer's Super Site, we like it when we can form liaisons between date's, as they correspond with students and what they are going through. This is one on the calendar that belongs to you super students. The shiny yellow school bus actually even rolls with a one on it's license plate and serial number in black on the side. All coincidences of being prepared students? We think so. Our shiny yellow school bus is too a good example of a super student because it inherently knows the rules of the road leaving Bob to focus on your student safety. Student Resolution Reminder!

Hi again students. = ) We are still in search of your infamous New Year’s Resolutions. Still looking for those New Years Resolutions

That's right students there is still plenty of time to let Sixxer know what promises you plan to keep with yourself for the brand new year. Our contest is out there for the world to vent and help you become better students by holding yourselves liable for your resolutions. What do you say you let your liability be under the scrutiny of Sixxer's Super Site staff as we award the most stuck to resolutions with Sixxer's Super Gear. Yay, so we made it to another encouraging new year. This year on the site we are going to be encouraging as many students as possible to be amongst those sticking to their resolutions. It is so fantastic when we notice super students setting and accomplishing goals that we here at the web's favorite student store should reward that behavior.
