Christmas Eve Surprise!!!

Under the tree for Sixxer was a really cool commercial put together by our friends at accentadvertising.  We couldn't be happier.  A super cool addition to the web's favorite student store.  Busdriver Bob was a little greyed out by the tinted windows of the shiny yellow school bus but we have confidence that he will pop out from behind the wheel one of these days to show students his shiny yellow persona to all his fans.  Oh and a reminder students that Sixxer's Super Site is currently accepting your New Year's resolutions as we intend on sorting and selecting the best ones for our Valentine's Day contest.  Simply pop on over to our contest page for details. Just About There!

Well we got  Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen.and Rudolph getting all fueled up for the big night and lists being checked twice. And even busdriver Bob is on his best behavior lately, as the Jolly one is soon to be eating our cookies and drinking our milk eh students?  The shiny yellow school bus is a bit different now as some wise guy went ahead and tied mistletoe to it's grill.  Those crazy kids.  So yeah the mood here is quite festive at the web's favorite student store and we think the student preparedness gifts that are flying off the shelves is what's making the difference.  At Sixxer's Super Site, with the new sign out front we are, as they say, packing 'em in.  The shiny yellow school bus just swerved to avoid three french hens to get students here today and student preparedness is apparently all the craze as the year ends.  Sixxer wishes all students out there a very safe and happy holiday season = )

Okay So Christmas Is Less Than A Week Away

Geez you know what that means students.  Time for all those procrastinators to behave like prepared students and sneakily get those presents under the tree, sidewalks shoveled, stock up on milk and cookies and make sure there is enough tape, wrapping paper and bows around to put that rush job on this quick approaching festive day.  The elves in the web's favorite student store is working like crazy filling all those student stockings out there and Sixxer himself is sometimes asked to contribute his finger as bows are being tied.  Prepared student orders that arrive in time for X-mas, well the deadline for that has come and gone but the items on the site can still arrive in plenty of time for the New Year.  So if you are gifting a Sixxer's Super Site item, bus driver Bob will guide the shiny yellow school bus over there as lickety-split as possible and there is still the slim possibility that it get there in time without the guarantee though.  An idea for those student's putting their orders through this week, is that a printout of your order can actually be placed inside a Holiday Card and you can rest assured that your student's preparedness item will show up in the surrounding days. Jack Frost Nipping At Your Noses Students?

Yes it's a bit nippy outside lately that's for sure.  So now that the indoor areas are where students tend to be dwelling, we are realizing an increase in student visitors to the web's favorite student store.  The shiny yellow school bus is trickling in the students a few at a time, but with the nice warm interior, the walk-in’s are getting here as well.  So, all this attention is noticed in our last month of our first year in business.  Wow, it's such a thrill to be a host to prepared students online.  On our super students page we brought up the topic of New Year’s Resolutions and what is it that prepared students are going to do to keep them this year?  We would really enjoy "your" take on that. So, if you've got a few, ride, if you will, the shiny yellow school bus over to our super student’s forum, and let us know all about your 2011 resolutions. Students Are Getting The Holiday Fever

Sixxer is gearing up for the holidays. Although we are getting the preparations in order for the Black Friday extravaganza, Sixxer thought he would chime in and mention the why's in relation to Thanksgiving  being so cool.  Things that rank high on the list is Turkey, NFL and Family.  Ah and lest we not forget the amazing smells coming from the kitchen. Developing Sixxer's Super Site was largely made possible with one of our favorite web browsers which turns six(x) years old today! We would like to give kudos to the awesome browser by guiding our super students on the shiny yellow school bus to a site that taught us a few tricks in the past. Sixxer enjoys working on the world wide web and also hearing of prepared students doing so too. Our shiny yellow school bus would like to encourage super students to download and recognize all the benefits of Firefox and would also like to pay homage to its brand new CEO Gary Kovacs. We find Firefox is easy to use and seems to load quickly. While google chrome is too on the rise and has a really neat format, Sixxer finds that the internet is becomming more and more user friendly. Okay The Second To The Last Month Of The Year Is Upon Us

So hey students we are approaching the holiday season in record speed now. The very beginning of the month opened with a brand new World Series MLB® victor and next week we get to honor our soldiers for Veteran's Day. That's right November is always chock full of exciting times. Were you also aware that this weekend is the one we get to gain an hour of sleep? Sixxer's students are really taking a liking to the new looks

While walking around town here in Hollywood today, Sixxer and crew carried around laptops to get a few opinions about the new look and feel of Sixxer's Super Site. The majority of the people surveyed claimed that the new look has a certain eye-catching appeal that draws them in. We asked several questions like what types of products would you expect to find at a student store?, what feature they liked best with their visit?, and a few other questions we were curious about with the site. We were elated that the feedback for the most part came back positive and on the right track to providing students with what was needed to win. In light of these positive results the shiny yellow school bus is guiding our super students over to the newest social scene where we are encouraging their feedback. So far we like what we are hearing with regards to our student focus and what churns their butter. Only until we hear from you we feel just that much less incomplete with our findings. Okay students you asked for it, you got it. Entertainment is our newest web store addition and we knew that we needed it because all of our fabulous students are entitled to down-time to take the edge off all the studying. Sixxer's Super Site is going to be stocking the shelves in this section in the near future to bring additional student preparedness to your DVD Players, Gaming Devices and any other entertainment hosting gizmo's you could possibly have. Getting Our Students Back to the Grind

With Columbus Day in the rear view mirror, it's time for the shiny yellow school bus to zoom students over to awareness of our new slogan. We initially voted on Working Students Learn, Student's Prepared Excel, Prepared Students Win! With a little ingenuity our staff liked the wordplay on students, which opened up the floodgates to creative synonymous words for students. The top two faves has now been incorporated into the new slogan. Our new one now appears at the top of your browser windows. The shiny yellow school bus will now feature a new placard on the dashboard that hosts this newest catchy slogan exclaiming, "Working Pupils Learn, Scholars Prepared Excel, Prepared Students Win!" Sixxer recalls that when he was in high school, there were a lot of unprepared moments, including one recollection where he got soaking wet in Physical Education class and didn't bring a spare pair of socks. School Bus Road Rules

Just like with any vehicle, requiring it’s operator to obey the rules of the road is a must. There is a host of multi-tasking acts that he/she must engage for a safe successful trip to their destination. The shiny yellow school bus is no different. Once the driver approaches the bus stop, it's a little different from other vehicles in that a little red stop sign pops out. This is the time that students are boarding and a safety precaution is displayed. There is precious cargo "Sixxer's Super Students" heading to Sixxer's Super Site. Once the door closes, and our highly trained staff driver, Bob has pulled the door leaver into its locked position, he has a lot of responsibilities. Check the mirrors, inside for seated, safe students and outside for traffic. Now to signal and pull away, speed limit check and defensive driving all the way to Sixxer's Super Site. Once arriving, a calm and confident Bob knows that his job was performed with great precision and accuracy with the rigorous training Bob endured, paying off as another safe arrival to the web's favorite student store has completed. Sixxer's Super Vision

As it stands, Sixxer’s Super Site is only a presence on the internet. Since the internet is currently the primary area where the student store exists, the actual red ribbon ceremony will have to be put off ‘til just about 5 years. Ah yes an answer to where do you find Sixxer’s Super Site in 5 years? Sixxer’s dream is to build an entire university around the world’s best student store. As it stands the foundation is up and the first few bricks are in place for the concept. Like any monumental journey, with there being a ton of things to do, we know that the idea is solid and one that will provide for student after student success stories. Building a university from the student store out, will involve a carefully planned and executed sequence of projects. Looking at the student store in whole, we will consider a blueprint that will have the overall university as shiny as the shiny yellow school bus. Student Life On a Timeline

In school, one's teacher tends to become one's mom/dad away from home. Customarily we find them caring, as they make us feel comfortable being away from our actual parents in the earliest of our experiences. As we grow and typically learn all of the basics during the beginning school years, we come to realize that these basics were the foundation of our future schooling. Having a positive early experience has been known to shape students throughout the years into well mannered, enthusiastic, young adults. Where every tree starts off as a very small seed, the shiny yellow school bus was merely molten steel, rubber, spray paint and a vision mapped on a blueprint. Our new student store intends to grow throughout the upcoming semesters as it remembers the seed and how it was planted, and the shiny yellow school bus on the factory floor being assembled all the way to its chrome bumpers. Then as the later years roll around, and we here at the site are reflecting on all of our first steps, from our very first Bus Stop blog entry to our Bus Stop Gazette newsletter and on and on, we suspect an overwhelming sense of accomplishment will ensue as one by one we'll have supplied one additional student with that preparedness item of choice. Gosh the mood was so festive as we Angelino's are super proud of our World Champion Lakers. Being the Twenty Ten winners of the NBA was very important to us. The parade marks the day when the Lakers ball on the street I like to think. We at the site do realize that we are going on and on about our basketball team and we do not wish to speak less of our opponents. Only it is our time in the spotlight. Sixxer personally got a glimpse of three of his favorite Lakers today of Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Ervin "Magic" Johnson, and Kobe Bryant. What a fun day. Yay A Southland Victory

Congratulations to our Los Angeles Lakers and us Laker Fans. Last night the Sixxer stayed up late slashing prices in the Sports and Recreation product page. All products there dipped to a unheard of ten percent off of what they were marked down from when our Fathers Day sale began on the site last Monday. Purple and gold is in. So every year as the beginning of June rolls around, students worldwide are beginning to be fitted for caps and gowns, signing yearbooks and the weight of the finals comes to pass. The remedy for June gloom!

Well the weather is a bit iffy these days and all of us have our eyes peeled and fingers crossed for a speedy solution to the oil spill faux pas off of the gulf. Sixxer thinks that mind over matter could not be more in demand. Our shiny yellow school bus wants to aid students and encourage solutions to the problems at hand. Sixxer wishes to open up discussion as to what could be done immediately, short term, five years, ten years and beyond to soften the blow as much as possible. Albert Einstein split the atom, and showed on paper that energy is equivalent to mass at the speed of light squared, so I pose to our students the questions; if oil, crude and even the seeping gasses which are comprised of atoms, and energy, could these elements be manipulated to somehow not be detrimental to life on the planet? Could the oil molecules be rendered somehow consumed or soluble to water? Or could we extract and harness all these molecules, recycle them to go into our automobiles as initially intended? Well since Superman cannot spin the planet around in the opposite direction for a month and a half, we will definitely need a good plan b. This is a problem that needs a solution! We believe here at Sixxer's Super Site that like every problem there are solutions, and this catastrophe needs them rapidly. Please don't hesitate to chime in on this topic as it is of great concern to students globally. Just today we established that the wheels on the bus go round and round. By that we mean that our site is on all cylinders with being able to process your Sixxer's Super Site orders. Not exactly 7 days has elapsed since our initiation to the world wide web but we are really feeling a great week unfold. An issue with ordering

Well just starting out every website has usually a hiccup or two. Here at Sixxer's Super Site, despite our best efforts, ran into a temporary issue. The staff today just realized with a mock order, that only paypal orders were going through. It's a small chink in the armour, but be assured that we are working feverishly to correct the problem so the wheels on the bus can once again go round and round.
